Kataldhar Waterfall
Kataldhar Waterfall, located near Lonavala in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. The name “Kataldhar” comes from the Marathi words “Katal,” meaning “rock wall,” and “Dhar,” meaning “waterfall”.
This waterfall is a seasonal attraction, most prominent during the monsoon season from June to September when rainwater gushes down the valley. It is a popular destination for trekkers, but the trail is known to be challenging and requires a guide due to the dense forest and slippery terrain.
